Questions, answered
Is Vessly free? What is included?
Yes. The Free plan covers up to three boats with maintenance tasks, engine-hour and calendar reminders, service history with photos and receipts, documents, checklists, inventory, logbook and PDF/CSV export. Pro adds expense analytics, the Boat CV PDF, cloud backup and a larger AI Mechanic allowance.
How do I enter engine hours?
Type the reading from your engine's hour meter into Vessly whenever you like, for example after a trip. Every hour-based task counts down from that number. There is no automatic reading from the engine.
Where is my data, and can I export it?
Your data lives on your phone. You can export a full backup file and PDF or CSV reports at any time, on the Free plan too. Pro adds automatic backup to your own cloud account.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Adding records, ticking checklists and reading your history all work without a signal. Only AI Mechanic and Fleet sync need a connection.
How do the trial and cancellation work?
Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; you keep access until the end of the period, and your data stays on your phone.
How many boats does Fleet cover, and does the crew pay?
Fleet is priced per boat, from one boat up to fifty. Crew members join with an invite code and pay nothing; only the fleet owner pays.
When is the iOS app coming?
The iOS app is in preparation for the App Store. It will have the same features as the Android app. Android is available on Google Play today.
